Students from the Motor Vehicle Mechanics programme showcased their technical knowledge and practical competencies during a visit by inspectors from the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT), highlighting the quality of vocational training offered at Ndejje University.
The practical demonstration formed part of the DIT inspection exercise, during which students exhibited a range of automotive maintenance and repair skills acquired through their training. The inspectors observed students as they carried out various mechanical tasks, including vehicle inspection, engine servicing, fault diagnosis, maintenance procedures, and the proper use of workshop tools and equipment.
Throughout the session, the students demonstrated professionalism, technical competence, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures while explaining the processes involved in diagnosing and repairing motor vehicles. Their confidence and hands-on expertise reflected the University’s commitment to competency-based training that prepares graduates for the evolving automotive industry.
